Dr. Janice Hong Messier

Janice Hong Messier, M.D. is a skilled vascular surgeon specializing in venous disease. Dr. Hong Messier is double board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. She has been practicing vascular surgery since 2001. Dr. Hong Messier received her Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her general surgery training in Philadelphia at The Graduate Hospital in affiliation with The University of Pennsylvania. Following this she completed her vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Hong Messier was in private practice in Delaware prior to moving to Raleigh, North Carolina.

Dr. Hong Messier is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the American College of Phlebology.
